One of the natives cut the head off another native and the head is supposed to have fallen into my g-grandmother's lap. Another story told to me by my Aunt Catherine Markuson was that while my g-grandmother was living in Gloucester, Mass. she used to have women come to the house for tea and she told their fortunes with the tea leaves afterwards.
